Spanish 2 Go App Reviews

I have used many Spanish apps and I really like Spanish 2 Go. I have been following Dave Spencer for a few years and he makes it easy to learn the language.

David Spencer does it again. An engaging professional teacher who makes it easy to remember phrases. There is sufficient space for you to repeat phrases and sentences on your own. I absolutely love this app with its easy links to both the podcast and the associated PDF files.

Very good instructor. Easy to learn and understand Spanish sentences and vocabulary through this app. However, I would get tired of the amount of time he spends promoting his app and web site during each lesson. 4 stars because of the quality of instruction.1star loss because of 2 much dialogue in self promotion.

I think this is a great learning tool, especially for someone like me who studied Spanish years ago and needs a refresher. I am not sure how easy it would be for a complete beginner so cannot comment on that. It is very good in explaining why the sentence is structured the way it is. However, sometimes I feel as if it is broken down a little too much--but, again, probably because I have studied Spanish in the past. Of course, I do not expect this learning tool to be tailored to my level of knowledge alone but find the reviews are great because they cut back on the explanations and focus merely on the expressions. I wish there would be more reviews because I believe I would skip a lot of the podcasts and go directly to the reviews. Then, if I wanted more explanation, I could refer back to the podcast. Nevertheless, I am really enjoying these lessons and highly recommend them!!

Its very easy to learn spanish with you

I have had this downloaded as a podcast and am so excited that its an App now ! I love David Spencers teaching method and have learned so much in the two years that I have been listening that all of my Spanish speaking friends cant believe it!! Keep up the good work and thanks for a killer App!

This app has a lot of potential. But I havent been able to do anything with it. At best, any given episode plays for about 4 seconds, and then goes back out of the episode. Most of the time, nothing plays at all. I have emailed the creators regarding the issues, I must say they have replied promptly. But nothing has changed, nothing has been fixed. I love the podcasts Spencer does, was very excited about this app, but its not working.

The sad thing about this app, is that I love this guys podcasts. His podcasts really work for my learning style, so I happily signed up for this app thinking that his app would be as good as his podcast. There is very little new here if you have the (free) podcasts already. This app is just an interface that takes you to his on-line podcast content plus a few pdfs as bonus content. What is the most irritating and truly laughable is that as you use this app, on your screen you read the same content that you would see if your were downloading the podcast from the the associated website, including the words "Check out our new app in the iTunes app store" - Yikes, I have to read an add for this lame app as I try to use it. An endless loop of mediocrity. The creator of this app should be ashamed. Get an editor. Get a proof reader. Test drive the app on actual users to get some feedback. At least give this app a facelift and get rid of the ads for the app. We already bought it, we dont need to check it out!

Mabey its just me, but I cant find any extra content here that isnt already in the free podcast. I dont mind paying for something of value, but I dont like being tricked into it. I only found 1 "speak of the week", and no extra PDFs, or "show notes", or extra "breakdowns" as stated in the advertisements inserted into the podcasts.

This is a great format. I hope there will be continued content. Im old, it takes me longer to learn. Thanks Dave! Glenn in Kentucky

Please get rid of music at beginning of each intro. Also, confusing as it seems each new lesson is not in order. Would give 5 stars if not for the above. Would also recommend to others if fixed!

I would give it 5 stars if the order of the podcast was logical but at te same time the teaching and tips are fantastic. I tried contacting wizzard media to see if there was an answer to the order problem but Something glitched on their site and Im not sure the question got through, so this my alternative. Lets see if we can fix this please. Even a table of contents or suggested lesson plan or course of study through the podcasts would be helpful. Thanks.

Great lessons but app does not live up to original promise. First description of app led one to believe that pdfs for lessons would be attached. New lesson pdfs are not added in a timely fashion so that David can sell them from his website. This was misleading!

This app used to be half decent, now its garbage.
